Following on from that success he started singing at local folk
clubs and pubs around Perth, also gigs at various other venues including the televised opening of 'Lombardo's Restaurant's
complex in Fremantle. 'Telethon', also another televised gig when the 'First Fleet Re-enactment' visited Fremantle.
Travelled over to Eastern States of Australia visiting various Ports,
performing at concerts and gigs with the 'Tall Ships Festival' on their trip around Australia.
Having a break from the 'Fo'c'sle Firkins' group in the early 90's
- joining in when required, singing at 'Toodyay Folk Festival' and the launching of H.M. Bark Endeavour' also on Western Australia's
Sail Training Ship 'Leeuwin' also 'Eye of the Wind' and the 'Whitbread Race' Exhibition, there were numerous other gigs including
a tribute to Keith Marsden at Toodyay Folk Festival.
Re-joined 'Fo'c'sle Firkins' in the latter half of the 90's doing
gigs around South Western Australia. Neville's strong voice is ideally suited to singing sea shanty's and songs of the sea. |
